Bay- We always use washed playsand and it works very well. Make sure it is not soggy, just wet enough to hold a tunnel. Also, may be blurry pics, but her eyes look a bit sunken in. I would bump up the humidity a bit just in case.
I suggest putting it in a bucket, and at least 10" deep. If it is just piled up in a corner, and she actually decides to use it, it is very likely her tunnel could collapse on her. We use small white buckets from Home Depot for all of out girls. They are about 2 dollars a piece and the perfect size. Having a solid bucket versus a clear one also gives them a bit more privacy when it comes time to lay.
ya.. well im going to have to find someone near me who knows quite a bit.. i dont want to bug her cuz ive only had her for like four days.. dont want to bug her.. but she hasnt moved so it worries me. so ill have to see if anyone can tell me whats up
bay - there are detailed instructions in that blog on how to fill the bucket and what kind of dirt to use. Please read it ! It will save you time and headache.
