The last time they legally could have been was in 1995 although that actual species name didn't exist back then so we'd have recognized them as Chamaeleo brevicornis. A bunch of other species haven't been in the trade from Madagascar but many just received conservative annual quotas. C. crypticum looks to be receiving a quota but is the only one still listed as "in preparation." They may come in this or next year, but, bring a new species to the trade, probably won't be cheap. Probably a good thing. I'm looking forward to hopefully acquiring some if/when they start coming in.
