Called my vet today about Albon.

I just got off the phone with the vet and told her about Jose's reactions to the Albon and she just told me to keep on giving it to him and he will be fine. I told her about Ponazuril and she said she's never heard of it and she sounded pretty pissed that I knew more about the Albon than she did. When I told her about it her tone of voice totally changed and all she said was she would look it up and get back to me on it, then hung up. I'm kinda sketched out about this vet, I'm thinking of switching to a different one if I can find someone near me.

So true. Unforturnately most vets do not know very much about chameleons. I would either find a better vet or explain to her about the forums and send her this. https://www.chameleonforums.com/chameleons-coccidia-ponazuril-offers-new-hope-16409/

Ponazuril is kind of new and it's a compound drug that she will have to order. Most vets are a little more open to learning about new things.
