my son purchased one of the complete chameleon setups from flchams. I just noticed that it came with calcium with d3 but not calcium without. is it ok to use the d3 stuff in its place? also I picked up some flukers high calcium gutload for the crickets to hold us off till we can get some calcium without d3.

no that would be too much d3 for him...you should only give d3 twice a month...but most of us use repashy calcium plus...you just lightly dust his feeders with it every feeding and you good...you could also get some repashy bug burger which works really good for gut loading...

our local pet store only has the calcium with d 3. I will have to order the other online . since it is friday it will probably be tuesday or wednesday before it comes. would we be better off using the calcium with d3 during that time, or just using the high calcium gut load.

It depends.
What brand of calicum with D3 is it? Some are safe for regular use, some have amounts of D3 that are better not used so frequently.
Also, what type of chameleon is it?
How old is the chameleon?
Is it housed entirely indoors?

Yes, you are likely find to use the calcium with D3 for a few days. You're also likely fine to go without. The flukers stuff isnt all that good, but it wont hurt either for those few days.
