calcium with d3 or without everyday????

Okay i went to my local pet store today to get some calcium without d3 and the lady did not want to sell it to me because she said since i dont house my veiled outside in sunlight i need to use the calcium with d3 everyday is this true???? Thank you and merry christmas!!!!!!!

That's assuming you have a good UVB bulb.

Then go with the calcium without D3 daily, just make sure he gets D3 twice a month.

While it's refreshing that your pet store lady has some knowledge and concern, you might want to point her here and suggest she spend some time looking into the knowledge base that's been accrued over the years here. It will help her when dealing with chameleons in the future.

NO, unlikey to be true, though it depends on the brand how often you use a D3 product, and what you gutload with. Also dont assume "twice a month" is right for your situation.
