What do you mean by aviary? If you mean a wire bird cage that could work depending on the wire opening size, where you put it, and how you plan on offering feeder insects. If the wires are too far apart your cham could squeeze through, get stuck, and your feeder insects will get loose. You'll most likely have a few loose insects no matter how you cage a cham but we're assuming you don't care about that right?
