Cage stand

Just curious what those with 2 x2x4 screen cages use for a stand? Pics?
Zoo Med sells cage stands for them, people build their own, people use/repurpose other objects to make them, etc. Is your cage homemade or from a brand?

I have him in smaller zoo med.. The 18 and I bought a bio stand cuz likes the ability to store all stuff in it. It's too small for new repti. Trying to find something cabinet style but not too tall since I'm putting another 4ft higher on top of that

You can look for lone base cabinets on clearance from hardware stores or cover something that you can use as a stand with woodwork for some stand options

I bought a plastic table from Home Depot and silicone glued and stainless steel screwed my two 24x24x48 cages onto it.
Drilled a 3" hole through both the cage bottom and the table. Glued a screen over the holes to keep crickets in and placed two buckets underneath

This one is on a dresser.
I elevated the cage on the sides and back. Drilled a hole in the bottom. Glued on a screen to keep insects inside and slid a large plant saucer under it.

I just built this for $35 with precut 2ft and 3ft 2x4's and a 2ftx2ft piece of 1/4 in plywood. It is incredibly solid. And once I get my cage I will mount it with brackets in corner so it can't move if it get bumped.

I will clear coat it or stain it before use to help with water protection but long term I'm going to wrap it in stainless or aluminum sheeting. But I've spent a lot on setup stuff already and don't want to buy the plates right now 😂

Drainage will go center and the two sides where the 2x4 sticks out beyond the tank platform will become a mesh pocket to keep small pruners and general plant/ enclosure tools/ most bottle etc. The other will allow me to run wires and tubing from underneath behind the tank as all my mechanical and reservoirs will be held below
