Cage splitting?

I have a veiled and my boyfriend just got a jackson. My chameleon has a very big cage and the cage that we got with the jackson is really small. He suggested putting some sort of wall down the bigger cage so they'd both have room. I'm iffy about it but is it possible?

I can't remember exact measurements but I think it's at least 4ft tall, I could fit in it and I'm 5'6"

Another thing we thought of was switching the cages every once in a while, or would that be a bad idea too?

chams are really normally territorial, and will "taste" the things they walk on to know if its there home or not..so switching would just have them have acclimated to one then stress out cause they will have to re-acclimate to a new one, then back again..if its a (like said before) a really really LARGE inclosure..its possible..but the more room you have for each cham the overall better they will be off..i would say go for it for temporary housing till you can get another for your lil jacksons..

Yeah, it would just be temporary until we can either buy/make him a bigger one. We just feel bad because he's in such a small cage and as my boyfriend calls her my "princess" gets the bigger cage.

haha lil princess, ya just make sure they cant visually see eachother, or possibly bypass your security and get to one anothers "chill place" and you should be good..you may need to use lower wattage basking bulbs to keep heat controllable..
