hi i am making a new cage it is almost done, do you think a 24x22x33" is large enough to house a adult panther cham??

is it 22 inches high or 33.. I know 48 is the typical.. I have my male in a 24X30X38 or so and he's fine, but its 4 feet off the ground.. so he's still way up in the air.

24wide 22 deep 33tall, he is o a big stand so overall he is about 6 feet above the ground, just that the clibling area is 33 in high

I wouldnt give a male panther anything less than 2 by 2 and 4 feet height for a cage.

I agree with Sandra.

I agree with Jann, who agreed with Sandra...

A 2'x2'x4' is pretty much standard for adult males, while the depth and width may be fine, the height is the major concern. Providing plenty of vertical space is key when dealing with tree-dwelling animals. You may run into temperature gradient issues as well, with that cage.(lack of vertical space)

EDIT: Grant, post a picture of the cage, Im sure we can increase the height by adding materials to what you have already built. -Jay

I agree with Jay, who agreed with Jann who agreed with Sandra! :D (who quite possibly agreed with somebody else)

(I know nothin about panthers but theres a pattern happing here LOL)

i cant seem to get any pics from my camera to upload on the comp, but will this size cage house a juvenile cham about 8" for a few months??
