Cage Size

I have always heard the 24x24x48 cage is reccomened for an adult male panther. However, would an 18x18x36 be successful given I had trees outside of the cage for him to hang out in when I am in the room or whatever?

Would you easily be able to keep the humidity up in the trees? I have a swamp cooler for my humidity, but outside of the cage between misting sessions it only gets up to 50% and stays around there.

I have a few aquariums in the room that keeps it fairly humid in there.

I've never noticed an aquarium change the room's humidity, to be honest.

Don't the aquariums distract and stress the chameleon?

I do notice that they keep the room humid. It is surprising how much water evaporates from them. I never thought that they might stress a cham.

yes i have 4 big fish tanks in my cham room and it gets the humidity up to about 57%-65%, very good for my cham, i think it could work but he would have to get out alot for a good roam, they need the space!

Would letting him roam about an hour a day in a tree in my room be enough. Or more?
