I just set up my enclosure for a veiled chameleon that I will be getting soon (still have to find someone to buy one from) the basking temp stays in the mid 80's and at the bottom it's around 72 degrees the humidity it usually around 45 I also have a pothos plant and a money tree and a monsoon mister

Id say some more plants and branches. Ditch the fake ones

Where is your grow light? How are you going to handle drainage?

Distance from highest branch to light should be 9-10 inches.

Its a good start though!

Also, if you use thicker branches vertically (connected to the dragon ledges) it will add a ton more support to them and you will be able to hang the pots easier. Its like building a new frame.

For drainage there is a hole drilled through the table and the cage and then there is a plastic tube that goes into a bucket

I figured that the plants would get enough light since the cage is by a window is that wrong?

Yeah I was wondering about the height of the lights so I will definitely lower the vine thank you!

Maybe, instead of lowering the vine and creating less usable space for the chameleon, could you raise the lights? Hang them, or even prop them up?

@Anisa.corp looking good but the fake vines need to go. They are a risk because if the cham rubs his face on them the black coating comes off and can get stuck in their eyes. You want real branches from non sap producing trees. Then you want to hook them in like in this tutorial with zip ties and then clean cut the zip tie extra end. https://dragonstrand.com/getting-the-most-from-your-dragon-strand-dragon-ledges/

If you have a T5ho and a 5.0 or 6% bulb basking needs to be 9 inches below. Babies will screen climb... So you might consider lifting the fixture up 4 inches above the screen and then have basking 5 inches below the top screen.

Mounting the heat lamp is east with that bracket. You will line up where you want it on a corner and then take the plate and drill holes then use 1/4 inch self tapping screws to attach to the enclosure. Do not peal of the sticky backing just hook with the screws. see images.
