Cage exploring

I have a female veiled and have had her for around a month and a half the first half month she was in a 10g tank but how I have her in a 24/24/48 open air reptibreeze cage and she loves it and has grown a lot in it but she doesn't seem to explore the cage any just sets in the vines I have up top and sometimes gets on the log right under I just added a new vine about 3 days ago and she's yet to get on it that I've seen is this normal for them to just stay up top and never go to the bottom
It has a basking light up top along with a 18" uba 50
Has cold air humidifier coming on ever other hr for a hr has three live plants lots of fake plants and vines
Well as I was writing this she went down on her new vine
