Cage demensions

I'm sure you though of this but pay attention to the cages being outdoors. I ended up with a snake in a cage very similar to this. That's why I still go with 1/4" vinyl coated hardware cloth. Expensive but no snakes.

I've never seen a snake here in my life. I think it gets to cold in the winter lol BUT I will DEFINITELY keep that in mind just incase! I think I'll look into that coated hardware cloth too. Thanks for the warning!

The poisonous ones keep to the south east part of the state. We get garter snakes but they stick to the grain elivators and creeks where the mice, frogs and toads live. In the 20 years I've live in this town I've only seen a couple and it was after a bit of flooding when the toads were all over town.

Haha! Not in years and years!! When I was a kid we saw them all the time, but we lived about a block from both a grain elivators and a creek.

And if you do see one it's probably sick. There's nothing in town for them but lawn mowers and SUV's so they usually avoid it. Plus the eating's much better in the country more fat grain fed mice I'd be careful if you ever move to an acreage though.

Making progress! Cage number one is almost a wrap! I have a ficus and pothos in it already. As well as a bunch of sticks. Two being cage length horizontal branches. Waiting on two pothos, and need to find about 7-8 more cage length horizontal branches and I will be done with it ..... I think haha

Thanks Jimmy. I'm really excited to get my boys in their own individual chameleon palaces! Especially when winter time rolls around and the poor guys are stuck inside! Minnesota winters are loooong and cold!

New lighting for the enclosures has been ordered! Thank you canvas chameleons!! Guess who has a friend with lilac bushes! Meeeee and there's PLENTY of branches where this came from getting closer and closer to being done!

Enclosure #2 in the works thanks to my friend BKfritz! Her lovely lilac bushes needing trimmed, and I was able to cut 48 inch branches for the most perfect horizontal pathways ever! The boys are going to love these enclosures!
