cage cleaning urgent (sort of)

So I am cleaning the cage in a major fashion cause I had lots of gnats; I got all the dirt out from the bottom and because I had several floods from a faulty monsoon mister, there is some mildew/mold on the table I use for the cage. Would it be ok to put the cage back up there after I wipe it down with a 1:10 bleach or should I let it sit overnight?

Is any part of the cage wood that it could soak up the bleach water and retain it for awhile?

If you have an alternative option for another cage for the night I would let it sit and dry out completely.

No the actual cage has no wood; I just bought a 24x24 litter pan for rabbits at Tractor Supply and that is going to be the new bottom. I can set his actual cage in another area with his tree and heat/UVB light and let it dry. I was thinking that would be best as well.

Good, glad you where able to find a solution. It's best to always keep them away from those harsh chemical as much as possible.

If nothing is wood I'm sure it will dry out quickly and you can return everything back to normal tomorrow.
