buying plants

it really depends on what you are looking for...
if you want "branchy" plants (stuff to give your chameleon climbing surfaces) the following are the most commonly used plants:
-Pothos (this stuff just grows everywhere, is cheap, and near impossible to kill...but you have to have it planted at the top and its stalks drop downwards, they arent strong "treelike" stumps on their own)
-Hibiscus
-Schefflera
-Umbrella
-Money tree
-Ficus (some users don't like the ficus b/c it secretes a sap that bothers your chams eyes on occasions, but this is not a regular occurance and many users including myself do use ficus)
EDIT: ALL of these can be found at your local Home Depot / Lowes
On the other hand, if you want "pretty" plants to spruce up his enclosure, I'd predominantly lean you towards any type of "airplant". They can be attached to anything (no soil needed) and as long as you mist them, they will be fine. More exotic type plants (orchids, airplants, etc) and many many terrarium/vivarium plants can be found at our site sponsors (which is where I'd look first). Also, I would recommend the site "Tropiflora" as they seem to have a never-ending selection of unique plants.
