I am going to go and buy the wood etc tomorrow to start building the viv for my panther. Is pine ok to use and then seal it with yaht varnish is this going ot be ok if not can you recommend other materials. Now I will place a plastic tub on the base of the cage with paper towel to catch the water drops from the drip system my only confusion is how often do you guys empty the bottom of your cage from water etc and how do you do it as I see alot of pics with the branches and plants sitting on the bottom now do you take these out evey week to clean the bottom or am I missing something?
Buying my materials tomorrow could do with some help
