Burn scab fell off - infection?

Hi guys,

Unfortunately a few months ago, ongo was burned on his side after I tried repositioning his lights. I moved everything back and there have been no fresh ones since.

The scab has just fallen off and it's sort of... yellow coloured underneath. I guess a human scab would be red unless infected/filled with puss it might be yellow. Though obviously they've not humans, a D the colour of their tongues/mouths makes me think that maybe their blood or flesh is yellowish anyway.

The colour has me worried that the wound is infected, though he is eating and drinking normally he has been a little cranky the last few days since it fell off. Looking for opinions, see attached picture.

I'm use to dealing with humans but IMO it looks ok. I would get some silver sulfadiazine to put on just to keep any bacterial buildup because it still looks a little fleshy.

Silver sulfadiazine is prescription only in the UK, do you know of any alternatives?

Manuka honey is a pretty good antimicrobial.

Unfortunately, I don’t know any alternate Ointments you could get in the UK. Not sure if any of our UK members have been in recently.
