Hello everyone! My name is Ben.
I'm new to the forums. A few months ago my son asked me for a pet chameleon, therefore i have been doing a crazy amount of research.
In the past two months, I was able to build an enclosure, and two weeks ago, we finally brought our veiled chameleon home (Yoshi).
I wanted to make sure that the enclosure was ready before bringing him home. I git a few ideas from other builds I saw and some ideas were all on my own.
I have live plants ( money tree, pathos 2, and bermiliad 2)
The misting system that I have is a mistking system.
I have two basking spots, 100w incandescent bulbs
I also have a grow light for my live plants.
A linear T5 UVB bulb
Everything is on a timer (12hr) system.
At the moment I have been gutloading the crickets, in my area it is extremely hard to find worms for my veiled chameleon
For some reason all the reptile stores are super far, and petsmart isn't very knowledgeable on things.
This is why I wanted to thank the forum and the YouTube community that was able to give good info and feedback.
