Bug in cage

Today I was looking at Ringo's cage (I still haven't decided on a new name for her) and there was an ant on the side of cage crawling up and down. I killed it, but is this something to be concerned about, I don't know how it got in, because it seemed to big to fit through the screening.

Probably a scout. It wouldn't be a bad idea to destroy any pheromone trails though...

If indoors, just set up liquid ant bait. I use Terro.
