I feed my roaches a consistent dry chow all year round. I only really believe in gutloading with high calcium/phosphorous ratio fruits and veggies, while if they are raised on a good chow all the time they will naturally be healthier insects and therefore make a healthier cham.
I make my own "roach chow" and make it of super foods and high calcium/phosphorous ratio vegetable items. Well who ever said they can't get their roaches to eat a dry chow should try my recipe because as soon as the roaches "smell" the food being put down they rush toward it, at least two nymphs are on it immediately and within a minute at least 200 roaches are crowding the dish. XD It's so cute, I am seriously thinking about buying another dish so everyone can have some at one time. It takes me about 45 minutes to make enough to hold us over for a week.
It's not even like they didn't have any food the night before either, or any left in their dish, they had a whole orange the night before and 5 strawberries, 2 and half of the strawberries were left.
