so i just made my repashy bug burger and i put it in their bin...am i supposed to change everyday..every other day...every week. im not really sure:confused:
also i got repashy calcium plus is it everyday and weekend or everyday and skip sunday

IMO I use the repashy everyday every feeding a Super light dusting. The crickets should early change color. Like a match head size a day or less. No need to dust treats :)

You never want your feeder food going bad in the bin and possibly mold over. I would offer what would be eaten within a 24 hour period , then change!
(so swap out the BB daily)

The Repashy Cal Plus is a daily duster.. You can skip a day and dust every other day if you like. I have done both without issue.

I have also found my crickets love bug burger in powder form. i them provide them with a water source such as carrot slices. It stops the moist BB going mouldy and you dont have to make it up or waste it by not using it and leaving it in the fridge!

I make the bug burger in a sandwitch container, and keep it in the fridge. When I need some I open it up and cut of just enough to last 24hrs. You start to get an idea of how much you need depending on how many crickets you are keeping and idealy they eat it all before you need to remove any.
It seems to keep in the fridge well. As long as you keep it covered

I got some of the bug burger and made it for the first time. Put it in with the crickets and they basically did not touch it!!! anyone else experience this?

Mine didn't really like bug burger either, it ended up going to the roaches. Now I'm using the Superload instead and I don't have to worry about making it, changing it out, or it going bad. I also have brown crickets.

It shouldn't dry out very quickly. Did you mix enough water in with it?
It should be 75% water, 25% powder. Or maybe you are keeping the crickets too warm?

probably to warm my mom hates crickets and plus they chirp i told her about dubias but she gets all mad i need to convince her somehow

Mine ate the bug burger better after I chopped it up with a fork. They did not go for the one-piece slab I put in there at first. According to the guy I got mine from at the show it will last in the fridge for a month and is good in the bin for a week if it lasts that long. I put smaller portions so it does not sit in the cricket bin for a week.

I was thinking about getting a 4 lb container for my first time since it's so cost effective. Should I hold off and get a smaller one to see how they react? I've heard nothing but good things about bug burger before this.
