Bug burger experiment

So I was hearing that crickets eat the bug burger better if it's dry instead of made with water. I never would have even thought of this! I put dishes with the wet and one with the dry, and they LOVE it dry! The crickets won't even touch the wet with the dry mix in there. I also have moisture gel in there. Well, this makes things even easier! Just wanted to share:p

I found the same thing. The dry powder got them more interested than the wet/gelatin/cooked version.

I now feed bugs the dry powder mixed with things like raw sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, and chopped carrots. I also chop up leafy veggies like arugula, kale, dandelion leaves, collard and mustard greens

For actual moisture i put in a shallow bowl of water

For me, Its good this way because cooking bug burger stinks up my kitchen!

why thank you i have an almost new bag ,i tried to make it and it never turned into what it was supposed to now ill just sprinkle some on some vegetables ,thanks ashleigh
