Bsfl climbing walls, crazy little critters

I just realized my bsfl are climbing their tub walls. I know it’s because they got over heated and most likely very humid but it’s so insane to see them all cluster at the top. It’s actually ended up accidentally killing all the pupated flys…
So anyone out there, keep you bsfl away from heat sources like a gaming computer…

I don't use any type of heat source on my bsfl, just room temperature. It probably takes a little longer to pupate and hatch this way though. I divide the larvae up into several condiment cups on a shelf until they hatch.

I don’t use a heat source either but I accidentally had them set up behind my computer that heated up a lot

Wow! I had mine climbing to the top seeking better ventilation. Obviously the deli cup lid’s tiny holes weren’t enough or weren’t fully poked thru. Only my breeding roaches get a heat source.
