I can only get them to bloom if they are less than 1 inch away from the light. :love:

After the flowers bloom, then what? Mine has been out of bloom for a while, then it seemed like it was dying. Then i gave it to my husband so maybe he finish killing it. Future reference, what should it be like post bloom?? The pink part turned a yellowish color...

Bromeliads bloom one time. With good care, they will sprout a "pup" next to it and that can be harvested.

I got a pup once, but could not get it to bloom.
