Soooooo pretty!I can only yet them to bloom if they are less than 1 inch away from the light.
So so so so pretty love !.I can only yet them to bloom if they are less than 1 inch away from the light.
So very beautiful.I do mean INCHES from the light. I also hand water it. Looks like I got a second bloom OTW
Only ever gotten it to bloom by watering it directly. Last one I could harvest the pup tried to keep it on the plant room--no dice.To keep it alive roots stay dry and only water the leaves
They are fickle plants rot very easily, roots can get wet but have to dry instantly, in nature they fasten to steep objects, trees & rock crevices etc..
After the flowers bloom, then what? Mine has been out of bloom for a while, then it seemed like it was dying. Then i gave it to my husband so maybe he finish killing it. Future reference, what should it be like post bloom?? The pink part turned a yellowish color...
So that sucks. Lol.Bromeliads bloom one time. With good care, they will sprout a "pip" next to it and that can be harvested.
I got a pup once, but could not get it to bloom.
Loll yup. Some of the most beautiful things on earth only bloom onceSo that sucks. Lol.
