Brevicaudatus pacing -- unhappy?

I have 1.1 R. brevicaudatus (purchased 3 months ago as adults) in a thickly planted 10 gal aquarium with an orchid bark substrate, misting daily. They've been very happy and feeding well (crix and fruit flies, mostly ignoring the latter).

The male usually pays little attention to the female, but about 3 weeks ago he started courting intensively and they mated. Since then, *he* has been behaving oddly, on some days spending the entire day pacing the front of the enclosure, rubbing his face on the glass and seeming intent to get out. I've tried removing him to sit on a plant outside the enclosure, where he reverts to usual pattern of little motion. Both animals continue to sleep about 3-4 inches up off the ground among the plants. They both seem healthy.

Anyone seen this? What should I do? The male does not seem happy.

How is circulation in the enclosure? Do you hvae any fans on in the room? He may be wanting to get out because the air in the cage is stagnant.

Could be something else too...that is just my opinion.
