Hay guyz,
So I have a male veiled about 5 months old and I am interested in having him pass on his genes. How difficult is chameleon breeding? Is it something that should even be attempted by an amateur? I like to think I take good care of my chameleon but it is my first (but not my first lizard)
I tried unsuccessfully to breed leopard geckos. They fought eachother and the male ate the female's tail and when they eventually laid eggs I couldn't incubate them properly.
The female eventually died after a good 8-10 years and the male went on for a few more years. Eventually he got old and skinny and stopped eating and submitted. That line is now no more...
LOL
Anyway chameleons are much cooler lizards and I'm wanting to try to breed them.
