breeding your own food!

so i am getting ready to get my new cham (which ever breed i decide):) and i was talking to my brother about breeding my ownchameleon food and since it would be cheeper to breed rather than buy every couple of weeks i was wanting to know how to breed and raise feeder insects.....i problably will do more than one kind so my cham will have a nice viriaty.......if you do this please help and mabey post some pics and tell how u do it thanx

roaches, indian walking sticks, and mealworms are easiest.
crickets, superworms, silkworms, hornworms, terrestrial isopods, etc. are also not too hard.

breeding at least one type of bug is a good idea. not only for cost savings, but also just in case you are unable to buy bugs for whatever reason (local store sold out, shipping delays, storm...) it will hold you over for awhile. :)
 
I currently have a healthy colony of dubia (my verru isn't into them), starting a colony of hisser's (just had babies) and I just had 200 mantids hatch over the weekend (although prolly half of them have already perished...). I say all of this to tell you that my verru still just eats crickets with an occasional superworm. :/

Where can I find come dubias I am afraid of hissing ones dont know y but they scare the hell outta me im looking to buy about 10 just to start a colony
 
I breed hornworms. :)
