Breeding wax worms?

Are waxworms a good feeder to invest into breeding? I saw this post online and seems very straight forward approach and doable. Other than the nasty scent mentioned of of course. It was also mentioned that waxworms are filled with fat and can be harmful for your chams when they have too much. Whats your take on this forum?

Should I breed wax worms? Currently breeding dubia and supers and waiting for mantids to hatch. Will start on silks after the holiday rush.

I wouldn't think it's worth it honestly. Since they are really only meant to be treats for chameleons, and they are so cheap, I would just skip it. Not worth the hassle.

I see. Okay I do have a store that sells wax worms for cheap. I guess Ill pass on them. Less things to worry about more time to focus on my chams :3
