breeding red bar/blue bar?

I tried doing a forum search on this but I'm on my crappy blackberry and it's glitching out when I try to search so I'm forced to post a new thread so sorry if this is something that comes up a lot!

I'm currently in the midst of researching and planning breeding on of my male panther chams and something has me wondering if it is completely safe to breed blue bar and red bar panthers?
I know it happens in both the wild and in captivity and the animals are of the same species so I feel like it's totally fine to do so but just want to be sure!
I'd love to have a green and yellow panther!

Green and yellow panthers are called Nosy Mitsio. Most are wild caught and very expensive.

You should check screameleons.com every once and a while to check if they have them available.

And also, yes, different color bar crosses are common. Some people frown on them, others encourage it.

Just be sure that you know the expense and work of breeding. You should keep the babies up to 2 months before even thinking about selling them. And also remember how much damn food babies eat! Hahaha. People who breed usually only do it for the love of the hobby, not really for the money. Chameleons are expensive to breed and take quite a bit of work.

Good luck

Ah yes I've seen that name before in my research. Thanks! Well I've been researching since I got my males, still have to get a female and let her settle in for awhile, so I still lots of time to keep researching, preparing and saving money! Lol
Not going to start until I feel 100% confident I know what I'm doing from start to finish. I also plan to use this website for advice every step of the way!

I dont think anyone frowns upon mixing a blue bar and red bar ambilobe. Its when you mix locales that some do not like.
