Breeding panthers

I have two panthers that are proven breeders as I have a clutch of 36 from her she is showing receptive colors and shows no aggression when I introduce them to each other but she just will not let him mount up !! She lets him get close then she runs away and they almost start to wrestle and it doesn’t look fun but they arnt biting and not breeding but it does seem this stresses her a little and she becomes darker ! Help me out cham fam what’s the solution !!!

Sometimes it's just not right in nature for two chams to breed. Though, I'm not there watching them. I would say not to keep them together if she gets overly stressed.

I would let one of the more established members respond before listening to me, though.
 
This is not uncommon behavior. She's playing hard to get.

Sex is stressful, good stress but stress none the less. I wouldn't worry about moderate stress colors. Should they start to actually fight, like biting or trying to knock her off her branch then they should be separated and try again next cycle.
