i have been attempting to breed my male and female ambanja panthers but the female does not seem receptive. The male will sit there for 30 minutes without moving closer to the female at all. She gets very bright colored which i heard is a good thing but she wont move towards him at all either. I have been putting the female in the males cage. They are both about a year and a half now so i would have thought thats about the right age to start breeding. The female has never laid any eggs previously. I give them calcium every time I feed them which is about 3-4 times a week and it is a varied diet. How can I tell if they are receptive towards eachother and how long does it normally take. The male is very receptive because he turns very very bright blue and bobs his head up and down but never moves closer to her.
