Its pretty simple:
get some 1" crickets
get a small tub you can put a lid on like a old Chinese takeout tub
put that cocofiber stuff in it and make sure its damp
pop that in your cricket storage cage
after about a week you should se lots o of white specs, those are eggs
within another week you will have pin heads

Fun part is dealing with the pin heads. Leave them in with mom and dad and they will eat them. They also get out through screen.

Or just do what i do:
get 3 potted plants, fill top with rocks so crickets cant get to dirt.
feed cham
have a few escape
weeks later have lots of pin heads walking around at the bottom of the tank:confused:

I just had my first successful pinhead hatching. You can do everything for around 20$..I use Rubbermaid totes from Walmart and screening for like a screen door. You can buy a roll of replacement screen in the hardware dept of walmart, cut out large holes in the tote and hot glue the screen over it making sure there's no gaps for escapees. Coconut fiber works good and any type of organic soil also that's damp but not soaking wet, let the pan of damp dirt in with adult crickets that are chirping. If they're not chirping they're not going to make babies. Leave the dirt pan in there a few days then move it to a warm place. Wherever you put the dirt pan make sure that it's cricket proof an they can't escape once they hatch. They're very little and it's easy for them to get out. Depending on how warm you keep the dirt pan they'll hatch in a week to a month. At the one week mark check everyday to see if any hatched and once you see one provide food and water source for them. After that just feed em and watch them grow. The warmer you keep them the faster they grow. If you want to keep them small keep the temps in the low 70s..upper 80s for fast growth
