Breeding Chams in Canada

While veileds seem to be available at any and all pet stores in Ontario. Panthers (and most other species) are not as easy to come by. Take the Canadian classifieds on this site as an example - as of right now, there's one post. With border regulations being what they are, it's difficult, and very expensive to import from the US, and this got me thinking.

I've read many a thread here about how chameleon breeding is not the lucrative business some may think. Would this also apply in Canada where supply is more limited?

Of course, we would have to find buyers (which would not be difficult where I live), and factor in the cost of raising 10 - 30 babies to 3 months old. Obviously it'd be more than a year and a half before we could possibly see any return on such an investment - but is there money to be made?
