Breed crickets!!?

I was researching and found that you can breed your own and save money. I would love to breed my own but I have few questions.

Do I have to buy the full grown crickets?
How should I make a really good setup?
How will I know if they lay eggs in soil?
lot more questions but if I dont get them answered i will ask

Just give me tonz of information on cricket breeding if you know any. I would love to breed my own and save money.

This is wht I do take a small cup i use a chew can cuz the lid works amazing cut the center of the lid out fill cup with moist potting soil non fertalized cut screen over dirt put lid on put about 5 large crickets in cricket keeper the females have a black tube comming out there rear end i use 3 femals 2 males wait about 2 weeks take dirt out put in a container like tuperwear with holes on lid I place mine on hotwater heater keeps it about 70 Fshould hach 500-1500 spall crickets "the screen is very important with out that the males will eat the eggs"

Crickets can be difficult to raise to adults. It is usually easier to just by in bulk. Not to mention that they are noisy and stink. I prefer to raise Dubia roaches. Much easier with no hassle.

My male veiled is around 4months. Will Dubia roaches work better? Wont the bigger ones go to waste?

The larger dubia will continue to produce more dubia. Your cham isn't going to be small for very long and then you will need the larger ones. You want the larger ones to establish a good colony.

Crickets are a pain in the butt, super hard to raise to adults! I did one time get about 80 out of 120 to 3/4 inch size! What a feat

If you think dubia are too large, try turkish roacehs.

1000 adults or just under adults would work perfectly, some people sell the prewinged ones and they tend to live a little bit longer than the adults inorder to atleast get a few batches to start.

basically get a big tub that they use for storage, i got one at walmart for $15 recently and it is huge, like 120 qt or something like that, i like to stay away from my crickets, the adults are nasty looking creatures, and get a short tupperware type bowl and fill it with soil and make it really damp, leave it in there for a week or 2 and take them out, place in a shoebox size box, keep the temp and the humidity up, like 90 degrees F will usually hatch eggs in like 3 or 4 weeks,

honestly i dont really check the soil for eggs cause i just find it unsanitary to handle cricket anything but if you keep replacing the old tupperware of soil with new clean ones of damp soil while the other ones are incubating you should have a few thousand in no time.
