I just got my new cham. b. thamnobates yesterday. just wondering how long it will take for him to drop a urate i have had him for a complete day and hasn't. he is going to be a year in august.

Is he an adult? He looks like it, usually adults only drop fecal/urates a few times a week. I would say every 2 to 3 days.

Edit: Just realized you put his age.... He will be slowing down on going to the bathroom. Is he eating?

yes @Andee about 6-8 crickets a day, i have superworms bu they are a bit too big

Don't worry about it too much, it'll happen. If your worried about him being hydrated how long and how often are you misting for?

I mist about 1 minute 4 times a day by hand i haven't set up my mist king yet because i do no have a reservoir @Andee

When you set up your mist king, I would set it to mist for two minutes 4 times a day.
