my django has been digging holes in the sand and become a bit excited i was told he was a boy now im not sure can you help please

So.... With 2 topics but no pictures or detailed information, how are we supposed to help?

In case of a veiled a picture of the hind legs is needed... Males have tarsal spurs there which females lack.
In case of a panther a picture of the base of the tail is needed... Males have a hemipenal bulge (thicker base of the tail) which females do not have.

i uploaded2 pics

Hello @john57 where did you post the pictures. People will help you answer your question once they see pictures. I recommend adding pictures of where it's digging and filling out the help form. You will have better luck getting help from the pros.

Sounds like your Cham may be a girl and is trying to nest but the pros know more then I do.

Post photos in this thread... I took a look at your profile and this is the only thread you have posted and posted in.

Read this article since you most likely have a veiled chameleon: https://www.chameleonforums.com/care/caresheets/veiled/

Read the whole page. specifically start at the "Chameleon Identification" section and let us know if you have a male or a female.

Do research on laying bins if you have a female. If you do have a female you need a laying bin ASAP otherwise she will become eggbound and die.. Females will lay infertile eggs once or twice per year when they are mature enough. You need to adjust your supplement schedule during the times she is gravid otherwise you may run into more health issues.

I recommend fill out the help form found in the heath section and post it in this thread so we can help you.

Help Us Help You and Your Chameleon....
