Ok so is this normal? I noticed these 4 bumps today on his rip area... Doesnt seem to be bothering him or anything... Does anyone know is its something to be worried about? Notice em on the right side of his body. Ive read a few threads and it would have broken its rib while with the other owner (unannounced to me). But has anyone else had similar concerns with theirs in the past??? I hope its nothing to worry about

Welcome to the forums. I'm sorry to see that you are having some problems with your chameleon. I would say those are broken ribs. How long has he had the bumps. Could be recent or from where the breaks have healed over.

Could be previously broken ribs, or might be partial fractures that have callused over. Cham ribs are not true bone, but semi-cartilage...so the cham can flex them to change its body shape. Fractures or lumpy calluses can be signs of MBD. What sort of supplements and lighting did his previous owner use...and what do you use?

The previous owner sold me him without lighting so i dont know . Although he did seem like a cool guy with a passion for reptiles (he had a semi large collection)... I have him under a 10uvb bulb and a basking light with a temperature of about 83-87 degrees give or take. Also feed him every other day . Calcium each day except for one non calcium day and d3 once a month... He eats mostly large crickets and superworms. If they are broken ribs they definately are healed since he shows no pain at all from me touching em...

There are a couple of improvements you could make to benefit your handsome Charmeleon.

He should receive feeders dusted with a multivitamin 2x a month
and the calcium with D3 would be better if given 2x a month, instead of once.
Adding more variety to his diet will be good for him, too.
Here's an excellent Veiled caresheet https://www.chameleonforums.com/care/caresheets/veiled/which lists some more details plus the links on the left side of the page lead to other topics that may interest you, as well.
