ok, so stupid question here, but my cham was hanging out in a window plant today and the radiator was on about a foot and a half under him. he was fine and doing his chilled out lazy arm hanging sit, but when i put my hand out for him to climb on he was actually warm instead of his usual cool. i know that they are cold blooded, so is being warm a bad thing? again, he seemed fine, but i know that they mask sickness or illness fairly well. i'm just slightly concerned. i think he was there for the humidity because of the cold air radiating from the window mixing with the warm. he was his completely mellow sleeping green the whole time, just looking around and out the window.

So the radiator emits heat right? and if he was by it he probably got warm. When I take my cham inside after being out (i live in Florida) his body is always warm from being in a warm environment. Just like when he is inside the AC his body is cold when I touch him. I don't think you have a thing to worry about!

I think he is fine. I would worry if he were near a radiator and didn't get warm, seems natural to me, just make sure he doesn't get burned or get too hot.

right but how do i know if he is too hot/cold? my main concern about him hanging out in the window was that he would be too cold due to a draft. would he move if he was too cold or too warm?
