Current Problem - The current problem you are concerned about.just noticed blood in stool. I went out for lunch and when I came back he had blood in a fresh stool

Two things, one, WHO sold you a two week old chameleon?! Two, you might want to take a stool test to a vet. I've never had that problem though.

I would take a stool in to the vet. Though I don't know how a 3 week old cham would do with meds, it might be to much for him :( Do you have multivitamins for him? I would spray his cage longer, about 3 minutes each time.

I havent started his multivitamin regiment, because I only have had him for 1 week.

Also, its not deep red....its between a red and an orange....could it be dehydration? I mist him alot...but maybe not enough?

Hes very active, he is hunting like crazy. Eyes are not sunken. Color is pretty good (hes still stressed from the new home)

The only thing I can think of that could have caused something other than dehydration is the pinheads. He was only fed flies at the store and I brought a batch of flies and crickets home. The first day I fed him crickets he ate them....but then the second day I watched him hunt and he would eyeball the crickets, hunt them down and then turn away. Once he found a fly he would eat it right away.

hes a pic of him climbing right now and his poopy.

Can't really see the red, I'm on my phone right now. It looks like it may be orange due to dehydration. You do only spay for about 30 seconds and that isn't really enough. Do you ever see your Cham sleep during the day?

Yeah, He just hates being sprayed..he freeks out. but i think it may be. hes just too active and happy...i couldnt imagine it being parasites.

Nope...he never sleeps during the day....hes all over the place.

looks like what happened with my cham. does it look like "jello" and more orange than red???? if so its not as big a problem as blood and your ganna want to try giving him more misting. you could also try giving him water from a eye dropper. its most likely from dehratation. also what ever store you bought him from should be closed down cuz if u ask me its animal torcher to sell them that young they struggle with the stress of change at older ages poorly let alone at 3weeks. hmm idk what a good feeder thats is good for dehration for a small cham like that. i know with bigger chams i was told hornworms but for a little guy like him that aint even an option. :/ plus at that age not all chams will make it anyway which is why petstores shouldnt sell them yet!! just try more misting offer him alot of water.

It looks like dehydration, not blood to me. That urate can get really deep orange.

I would mist, mist, mist, and lower the temps as suggested.

Yes! Yeah, I don't think I was misting long enough. I am still working out all the little quirks of owning a cham. I had other reptiles before I moved, so I know that there are always a few kinks to work out.

I completely agree. Its very irresponsible of them to sell a 2 week old cham! To their defense...they are a great shop and they quizzed me a bit before they let me take the little guy home. They didnt want some moron taking this kind of thing on!

Update!

Okay, so really, he's doing great.

Hubble, my panther baby, does not stop moving during the day. He hunts like a champ. Today I caught him drinking several times. And his color is showing that he's destressing.
I love this little guy to pieces!:D

Yay! Keep up the good work and keep us informed.

Plus, we really love baby pictures and it seems like you have a very sweet baby to photograph.

Thanks! Living day by day with this sweet baby!

Yes! I will post some more baby photos :D
Ill be sure not to let all the fame get to Hubble's head. hahaha

You may try to get a humidifier as my cham was dehydrated also before, I got a humidified and it becomes better day by day now. Orange Fecal must be a dehydrated case.

P.S. Your Hubble is very cute!!! He is my idol now!!!:)

I would, but I live in Florida...and its super humid this time of the year. Thats why I was so surprised that him being dehydrated to the point where there was orange could even happen!

Good News- No more Orange as of today! Thank you SO much to everyone!!!!!
Oh, and I will definitely let Hubble know:p hahah!
