Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - Male panther, around 7 months old. Owned for 5 months
Handling - once a week
Feeding - fed crickets every other day, occasionally mealworms. Gut fed on various salads and ready made gut Feeds
Supplements - calcium every feed, calcium with d3 once every fortnight, reptivite once every fortnight.
Watering - mistaking and dripper
Fecal Description - Look good, white urates
Cage Info:
Cage Type - 4x2x2 reptibreeze
Lighting - 75watt basking bulb, Arcadia t5 12% canopy
Temperature - Basking 32c, top 28c, bottom 24c. Night time around 20c
Humidity - Between 50-70% (higher after mistaking goes off)
Plants - umbrella plant and fiscus
Placement - High up in bedroom.
Location - south of England
Current Problem - I'm currently concerned about my boys tail. The tip has become black and I'm worried it may be necrosis, (been like this a week or two). I am going to get hold of a vet tomorrow hopefully. His tail is fully mobile and the tip can still be moved/curled. Below are some pictures. (Apologies for poor quality)
Any advice would be welcome, thanks in advance.
