So I went to feed Kp this morning and found this in my Phoenix worm culture. Looks like one of my Phoenix worms got tired of being a dirt digger and just wanted to fly. What he didn’t intend to do was fly straight into kp’s mouth.

Buy some solder fly larva.

Make gross bin with screen top

Get a good few adults going so to start a culture

Racoon comes cuz garbage smell

All flies, fly the coop, no more larva left

@nightanole wellnthats pretty inconvenient lol pesky raccoons always Gettin into things they shouldn’t. Maybe try again and hang the bucket like you would a potted plant, raccoons are good but I don’t think they’d be that good

I’m thinking I may want to start feeding kp the adult flies, give him some good target practice maybe??

I’ll culture some of the larva into adults, then let em loose and see what happens. Guess i’ll Just have to keep a few extra fly swatters around just Incase they figure out a way to escape lol

As soon as its warm enough, I plan to ordera bunch of BSFL and see if I can culture them as well.
