Black Scales on my Panthers Taill?

Hi guys, notice these black marks on both sides of the end of his tail last week, are they bites from the locusts? or burn perhaps, should I take him to the vet?
He seems happy enough though seems more interested in making friends with the locusts than eating them over the past few days. is drinking lots and pooing as per normal. He's a happy guy, I'm just a worrier .

they look like bites to me...do your feeders have something to eat/drink when you put them in the cage? keep a small cup of fruit at the bottom to keep this from happening

Aw, I though so. No I don't have anything inside the cage for them to eat so I will do that straight away!!! Thank you so much, hopefully they will heal by their selves! Thank you!
