Black mark

My panther had a little black mark on the side of his mouth this morning.. Couldn't figure out what it was, any guess?

I'll try to take a pic when I get home after work.. He's was quiet cranky this morning.. I think he'll shed in few days it might be that...

It could be a bruise, a burn, a fungal or bacterial infection, or mouth rot. When you upload the picture we can give you a better answer.

That was my first guess too, crickets guts, it happened before.. I touch it gently, it didn't come off!!
