Black mark on back of hatchling

My little guy is 5 1/2 weeks old so he changes just about every day. He is eating, drinking and happily moving all around his enclosure. This week he has gotten this black spot on his back. Is it a burn? Fungus? Or just his coloring? I have pictures of his enclosure. It’s a reptibreeze 18 x 18 x 24 with two sets of the bulb lights one uva and one uvb so there are two areas of the enclosure for UVB light and there is a long uvb t5 light the shines on the right side. There is a humidifier that runs constantly and I mist 4-5 times daily. The bottom is a bioactive terrarium with several vines, plants and bamboo. I also just have the flightless fruit fly culture in there right now because it’s time to eat. I am posting lots of pics with him in various moods so that you can see the spot in various ways.

Is there any way of getting a close-up of the black spot? I can't see it from the pics. Maybe someone else with better eyes can.

Hi there! Welcome to the forum! Your little one is adorable! What species is he? I am not good at telling when they’re this little. I don’t think it’s usually recommended to keep a humidifier going 24 hours a day because there’s no time for things to dry out so you could get mold growing in there. Also if temps are high along with the humidifier, high humidity, you can cause a respiratory infection in your little one. We usually recommend using the humidifier at night when temps are in the mid to low 60s. Colored lights aren’t recommended either as they can bothe the chams eyes. All you need is a 60-75 watt halogen or incandescent household bulb for heat and your long linear t5ho fixture with either an Arcadia 6% or reptisun 5.0 bulb in it and lay it across the top of your enclosure parallel to the branch your little one basks on. Make sure it is 8-9 inches above the back of your Cham. Looks like a nice cage but you need many more plants and branches for him to climb on. Baby chams like lots of foliage cover so they can hide and feel safe. since Your asking for help regarding his black spot you should probably fill out the “how to ask for help form” located under the health forum. It’s pinned at the top of the page. Just fill it out and paste it here and someone will go over it with you.

Most likely it's a burn from him crawling up the rock backing. That goes right up to the light were he is to close to lighting. I see there is no plants. Put a couple large plants in enclosure. Then you won't need humidifier. Is it a veiled or panther? Fill out a husbandry form or your want legit and on point answers

I do see several issues with your setup that need to be corrected. Not downing your enclosure. It looks awesome. But for the sake and wellbeing of your cham you should fill out husbandry form

For starters you need a plant with branches. And raise the basking light off top of cage. Once you put a plant in with branches. You want a basking branch 8-9 inches from the back of you cham on his basking branch.
