Black circle on throat?

Does anyone know what the black circle on Rex's neck might be? Its been there for a while but I am not sure if it is anything to worry about.

If anyone has recently tugged on his gular pouch (give meds, etc.) it could be a bruise.

I'm sure others will reply with their thoughts.

No one has tugged on him. Unless it was a misfit hornworm.......

A black mark appeared under Stanley's neck about a month ago...

It is still there but faded a bit.... It has caused him no distress but is still visable, I have no idea what caused it...

Looks like bug juice. If he's eating hornworms maybe get got some on him. Try a nice long misting and see if it goes away.

I dont think its bug juice, been there for a while and he gets plenty of mistings.

Given the positions and antics our chameleons are known for I usually chalk them up to a bruise. I know we all worry, but sometimes there is no need to worry. How long has Rex had it and does it seen to bother him?

I noticed it a couple weeks ago. He doesn't seem to notice it.
