Black chameleon tail

One side of my chameleons tail has become black while the other side is completely normal in color, what could be wrong/ how can I fix it.

Was there an injury to the tail? Can you post more pics of the chameleon?

There wasn’t any injuries, I’m thinking it could maybe be some stress marks from me holding him

My goodness he is absolutely gorgeous!

Yes, he is quite beautiful. Keep an eye on it I am not seeing anything overly concerning since he appears to have normal function of the tail.
