I make bird and rodent mash pretty regularly now I have one parrot and a grasskeet, and 5 hamsters who all enjoy this food daily.
All grains include
Israeli couscous
Wild black rice
Millet
Rolled oats
Groats
Buckwheat
Barley
And amaranth
All veggies include
Zucchini
Carrots
Various lettuce (red lettuce, bib lettuce, some other similar greens)
Radicchio
Fresh English peas
I freeze a serving for a day so that I can feed everyone from it. The birds get around a spoonful and the hamsters around 1/4 of a spoonful. They still eat their regular mixes and the birds get other fresh things through out the day. But this just makes sure they get plenty of good veggies and healthy carbs <3
