Bigger knee?

Any idea what this could be? He drinks water, I just saw him standing on his two back legs to get a cricket.. I’m so confused.. his left knee seems bigger than his right.

That significant swelling. Looks like it could be a broken limb. If it were gout you’d see it on all the joints. A vet visit is definitely necessary to get that checked out. He may have had a fall while you were in another room and broke it. I hope your boy feels better! If you want to post where your located the people in the forums can tell you the best exotic vets in your area that can help :)

@Bazelthechameleon and @jannb just sent a bunch of photos to the breeder and what I’ve been hit feeding and supplementing with and he saw swelling in other joints. Apparently I’ve been giving him too much calcium and he believes it’s Psuedo-Gout. He advised me to stop giving the crickets cricket quencher and the powder feeder and only give them veggies to gut load. He also advised to lightly dust his crickets every other day to see if that helps the situation.

You said…”Apparently I’ve been giving him too much calcium and he believes it’s Psuedo-Gout”…what have you been dusting with and how often for each supplement?

You said…”t. He advised me to stop giving the crickets cricket quencher and the powder feeder and only give them veggies to gut load” …I agree with both of these things.

Id like to see another photo of the right arm and elbow….looks like there’s some swelling in the elbow and maybe the ankle too on that arm.
