Big Boy Cage

Anybody have any blueprints, measurements of directions for me ? My male needs a bigger cage and I am on a mission to build one . Also drainage for a big cage ideas

I once made a 5 x4x2 foot cage... it was pretty sweet

It really depends on what you have room for and where your putting it. That's how I did my measurements as to how big I could go

Most people use wood, screen, hinges? Depends what you want it to look like.

The appearance isn't a huge thing, as long as he has lots of room. Is this a specific type of wood I should use ?

It really depends on what you are wanting to build. Here is what we did.

We used oak for most of the cabinet and for the cages it was just pine 1x2's. We painted it with Behr paints as they are low voc and also sealed the top of the cabinet with spar urethane. For the sides of the cages we used pet screen and for the top and door used regular screen.
